Annual Design Exposition - ADEX 2017

Annual Design Exposition ( ADEX ) is a showcase of a year's worth of endeavours from Master of Design students at IIT Kanpur. The exhibition shows a wide range of projects in the fields of Product Design and Visual Communication. It is aimed at enhancing interaction of Design Programme within the IITK community and with the industry.
ADEX is the window through which we showcase our endeavour, in putting into practice, the skills we have imbibed, the dreams we have cultivated, the efforts we have made to exercise our thoughts into creating meaningful products. Here you get to engage with the design community, their ideas and work here at Design Programme. This year ADEX is presented in collaboration with Techkriti, the Annual International Technical & Entrepreneurial Festival of IIT Kanpur which has grown into one of the biggest and the most zestful student festivals in Asia. Witnessing nearly 45,000 Participants with over 1000 participants from abroad, the festival is a much awaited event in the technical and business calendar of the student community.

The work being showcased this year is distilled into five zones.
Kid Zone- games and instruction aids including a workshop (live demo)
on teaching simple machines to students of class 3-5.
Healthcare Corner- designs related to healthcare
Go mobile- Interactive Apps- e commerce, navigation
Visual Writings- Graphic novels
Make for India- Design for the Indian context- UCD
Re-Search Zone- Design research practice of the doctoral fellows and sponsored projects
Workshop on Design Thinking by eminent designers
