Dr. Kashalkar was a soft spoken, polite and considerate person. He was always approachable and the campus community will miss him. I pray that the lord gives his family the requisite strength to mourn his untimely death.

I have pleasant memories of interacting with Mr. Kashalkar both on professional and personal level. He was a delightful company. He worked with dedication for the institute and that will be sorely missed. May God provide his family strength to withstand the tragic loss.

I was associated with Late Shri Sanjeev S Kashalkar from his joining the Institute as Registrar. For me he was a good teacher, guide and a gentle senior. Sir always promote me in all possible occasions especially in occasions like Hindi Diwas, conference, seminars etc. When we commit some mistake in our work, Sir always tell me “See Binu, this is not my style of working. You know that, then how did you perform like this ?” Then he will direct me how to do the work correctly. The working style of Kashalkar Sir was very much appreciable and a true direction to subordinates. It was a shock to hear his untimely demise. Sir will always live in my memories. May the ALMIGHT GOD provide courage to all family members to face the bitter truth of his absence from this World.

Sh. Kashalkar was a very pleasant and balanced person with an inner desire to help anyone and everyone. while I had known him at IITK, I took his help in understanding many administrative matters at the Rajiv Gandhi Inst. of Petroleum Tech, Rae Bareli. He had also visited us to advise us. His superb and multifarious qualities were in evidence in arranging the Yale visit by 2 dozen Vice Chancellors and Directors from all over India last September. The whole trip worked like a clockwork thanks to his plannig and farsight under the direction of Prof. Sanjay Dhande. He was an avid photographer and early this year had mailed a DVD of all the photos taken during the two week trip. we at RGIPT will sorely miss him since we were looking forward to increased interaction. We pray for peace for the departed soul and requisite strength to the bereaved family members. J P Gupta
