Advertisement for post of Project Mechanic

Applications are invited for one post of Project Mechanic in a projectWT/BSBE/2016054 at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.The appointment is purely temporary & on contractual basis.

Name of the Post: Project Mechanic

Salary Range: Rs. 7000-700-14000 (consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: High school + 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Qualification: At least fiveyears of experience in a biology lab, including familiarity with common laboratory equipment (such as auto-clave and hot-oven). Prior experience of rearing mosquitoes is desirable.
Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview.
