Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the STUDENTS’ PLACEMENT OFFICE at IIT Kanpur on purely temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of one year and can extended on yearly basis (subject to noteworthy performance).

Position: Project Engineer (One Post)

Salary: RS.22000-2200-44000 (Consolidated). Higher start may be considered for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates).

Qualification: M.Tech OR B.Tech + 3 Years of experience.

Desirable Experience: He/She should be able to carry out a range of administrative and IT-related tasks, depending on the requirement from time to time, by the Student Placement Office, activities would include:

To call companies and develop a long relationship with them;
Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases;
Managing filing systems, Developing and implementing record management, Recording office expenditure, Organizing the office layout and maintain supplies of stationary and equipment,
Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;
Writing reports and delivering presentations;
Responding to corporate enquires and complaints;
Should have very good communication skill.
