Applications are invited for one post of Project Executive Officer for NICEE project at Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Qualifications Requirement:
Professional

Doctorate Degree with minimum 15 years experience/ Post Graduate Degree with minimum 25 years experience

Job Description:
The Consultant will be required to manage the NICEE’s staff and act as chief advisor to the Advisory Committee on all matters pertaining to NICEE. Typical responsibilities will include (indicative only not limiting)

• Formulating and recommending policies, establishing and accomplishing goals;
• Implementation of the issued directives and decisions;
• Preparing budgets and grant proposals, and ensuring that the organizations financial and actuarial systems are sound;
• Liaison with potential national and international donors for fund raising;
• Ensure timely printing of publications and periodicals of NICEE and their dispatch to the subscribers of NICEE;
• Oversee the services for more than 10,000 members of NICEE, several committees, programs and projects;
• Cooperating with and acting as NICEE’s liaison with other organizations, government departments and agencies, legislative bodies and the public;
• Liaison with international organisations working actively in the field of earthquake engineering;
• Directing the technical and administrative support provided by IIT Kanpur;
• Logistic requirements for seminars and conferences organized from time to time;
• Overall responsibility for the direction and supervision of all the NICEE’s employees and services;
• Ensuring timely and high-quality services;
• Executive ability at a senior level in a technically driven organization;
• English language skills for business communications must be impeccable.

Salary Range : - Rs. 42,000 – 3500 – 105,000/- (Consolidated)
The post is purely temporary for three years and can be extended on the basis of performance.
