The role: We are looking for up to 1 outstanding candidate to join the dynamic Prof. Tripathi's Group (http://home.iitk.ac.in/~snt/) within the Civil Engineering Department. The post is available for a period of five years. The position will involve preparation of reports, proposals and technical writing. Successful applicant will work closely with national and international collaborators. He/she must have the ability to work collaboratively yet independently. Must have strong computer skills and familiar with commonly used office softwares. The post is also open for any PhD holding candidates looking to branch out to management/administrative options. The salary is negotiable depending on the experience and qualification of the candidate.

Selection criteria
Applicant applying for the post should have a PhD or MSc + 3 years exprience graduate degree in any quantitative physical science field with NET/GATE. The candidate must have proven record of writing experience in the form of publications or reports. Excellent command over the English language will be required. Candidates with experience in experimental laboratory will be preferred.
