Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Scientist under the project entitled "Exploring muti-stakeholder participation in rural homestays: A provider-user duality perspective in the rural North-Western Himalayan Region (NWHR)”

Post: Project Scientist; No. of Positions: One (1)

Salary (Consolidated): INR 31600-2600-78400

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D in Management/relevant social science domain Or [Postgraduate + 3 years relevant experience] in Management/relevant social science domain

Essential Experience: At least one published article in ABDC/SCI/SSCI/Scopus indexed journals.

Desirable Experience: Primary and secondary data collection and analysis, fieldwork in rural areas, interdisciplinary research and working with the team, qualitative analysis using MAXQDA/ATLAS.ti/NVivo/Dedoose and statistical analysis with Excel/SPSS/Python/R

Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and execution of fieldwork, travel to field sites and interacting with stakeholders, conducting and recording individual interviews and steer focused group discussions, write project reports and academic publications, handling qualitative and/or quantitative data using the appropriate method/s, other related work assigned by the reporting authority.
