Position: Deputy Project Manager

Applications are invited for the post of “Deputy Project Manager” in the Project numbered SERB/CS/2016466 in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur.

Minimum qualification: 
Post Graduate degree (MBA/MCA/M. Com/M. Sc./ MA) + 5 Years Relevant Experience. (Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English)

Essential qualification and Skills required:

• At least 60% marks in academics
• Thorough knowledge of JSP/JavaScript/Java/MySQL Database/SQL .
• Working experience in node.js, angular.js, ember.js and related framewoks is a must.
• Good knowledge of Linux, PHP programming.
• Knowledge of CMS in general and Drupal in particular.

Desired qualification and Skills required:

• Experience in handling different real time projects independently.
• Learning new technologies as per requirement.
• Security aware Software Development.

Consolidated Salary range: INR 16000 - 1600 - 32000.

Duration: Appointment will be made initially for one year and may be extended up to five years or till the end of the project whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance. Performance reviews will be held weekly. The appointment can be terminated at any time if found unsatisfactory.
