Project Scientist Position in Robotics and Control

Applications are invited for one position of 'Project Scientist', initially for a period of one year (extendable depending on the performance) in the COE flagship project entitled "Design and Development of Autonomous Stairs/Escalator Climbing & Self-navigating Smart Wheelchair." at COE: Telemedicine and Robotics, IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Project Scientist (One)

Salary: INR 48,400/- (Consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant domain (align with Desirable Skillset) or ME/M Tech (suitable discipline) + 3 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Skillset:

1. Extensive knowledge on Autonomous Ground Robots
2. Good Experience in Electrical and Electronics hardware development
3. Experience in ROS1 (or ROS2).
4. Experience in microcontroller programming Arduino, Raspberry Pi
5. Experience in SLAMs and other aspects of autonomous navigation.
6. Strong background in Control Systems Engineering/Robotics and Automation
