Position: Project Engineer

Applications are invited for one Project Engineer in the project, “A multidimensional smart energy grids analysis for Indian scenario”, funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

Minimum qualification: MTech or BTech plus 3 yrs.

Desired qualification: The candidate should have sound knowledge and experience in oneor more of the following areas: power system analysis, state estimation, and electrical machines. The candidate should also be proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and one or more power system analysis software.

Salary range:22000-2200-44000

The post is purely temporary and contractual, and is for the duration of oneyear or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier. Interested candidates are requested to apply with CV containing complete details of education and experience. If shortlisted, copies of the relevant certificates will be required, and will be checked against original certificates at the time of interview.

The institute reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
