Duration of Appointment: Nine months (to be extended on the basis of satisfactory performance)

Minimum Qualification: 
Post Code A: Graduate in any discipline (B Sc/BA/B Com/BBA/BCA).

Post Code B: B. Tech. or M. Sc. (preferably M. Sc. in Environmental Science)

Post Code C: Ph D + 2 Yrs Exp

Desirable: 
Post Code A: Applicant should have knowledge of conducting survey, sampling, Analysis and reporting. Applicant should have good knowledge in computer applications and experience in data entry.

Post Code B: Applicant should have knowledge of conducting water and wastewater survey, sampling and laboratory analysis. The applicants having prior experience in water/wastewater analysis, handling scientific analytical equipments will be preferred.

Post Code C: Applicants having experience in river basin management studies, field survey of aquatic systems (riverine systems) with reference to their biodiversity, E-flows studies, water quality monitoring will be given preference. Applicant should have good command over written and oral communication, capability to prepare/edit scientific/technical articles/reports etc.

Note: The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and will carry other benefits as may be applicable under IIT Kanpur norms. The institute reserves right to fix suitable criteria for short listing, increase or decrease the no. of vacancy. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
