DST sponsored project titled “Compact Plasmon-based bio-sensor and imager”

Applications are invited for One post of Junior Research Fellow under the project entitled “Compact Plasmon-based bio-sensor and imager” at the Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur.

Essential qualification: Post-graduate degree in Physics with NET/GATE qualification OR Graduate degree in Engineering with GATE OR Post-graduate degree in Engineering.

Desirable: Demonstrated aptitude for research work (both in experimental and simulation work) in optics/photonics/lasers.

Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month + 20% HRA (HRA is applicable as per Institute norms)

Duration: One year.

The post is purely temporary and is for a maximum of 1 year duration.

Copies of supporting documents should be attached for proof of date of birth, degrees obtained (final or provisional), caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if applicable), NET/GATE qualification and any publications (if applicable).

Last date for the receipt of applications is 18th January, 2019. The date of the interview will be informed to the short-listed candidates by e-mail. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
