DST sponsored project titled “Compact Plasmon-based bio-sensor and imager”

Applications are invited for One post of Project Engineer in the project entitled “Compact Plasmon-based bio-sensor and imager” at the Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur.

Essential qualification: Graduate degree in Engineering Physics or Electronics and Communication with NET/GATE OR Post-graduate degree in Photonics/Optoelectronics/Lasers.

Desirable qualification: Demonstrated aptitude for research work (in experiment or in simulation work) in Optics/Photonics/Lasers.

Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month + 20% HRA (HRA is applicable as per Institute norms)

Duration: One year starting from 1st May, 2019.

The posts are purely temporary and are for a maximum of 1 year duration.

Application on plain paper, including the complete name, date of birth, correct postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and details of educational qualification (such as the Name of the exam, Name of the College / University, Subjects studied, year of passing, cumulative grades / marks obtained in each semester for B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech/BS) right from High school level should be sent to the undersigned by post. Copies of supporting documents should be attached for proof of date of birth, degrees obtained (final or provisional), caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if applicable), NET/GATE qualification and any publications (if applicable).
