Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Associate for a period of 6 months to start with, in the SERB/PHY/20130161 sponsored project entitled “Investigation of energy spectrum and heat transport of turbulent convection”. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Salary             : 18000-1800-36000

Eligibility        : B Tech+ 1 Year  experience or M Sc. + 1 Year experience

Desirable        :  The candidate should have NET/GATE qualified or Ph.D. At least 1 year of experience in Turbulence research, programming in C++ and Python, knowledge of vsiulazation software like Visit, Paraview, etc. The candidate should have experice of writing research papers.  The  candidate must have good knowledge of computation fluid dynamics and should have the ability to apply various numerical  methods like finite difference, spectral  methods, etc.
