Applications are invited for a temporary & contractual post of Project Scientist under the project entitled “Establishment of Phase-II of “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics” at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: PhD or (M.Sc + 3 Yrs of Exp.) / M.Tech or (B.Tech. + 3 Yrs of Exp)

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

• Doctoral degree in science or Master Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and 1-3 years (or more) of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

• Candidate should have completed a Ph.D. in any field of electrochemistry with extensive experience in RUL/GITT/Cyclic voltammetry/EIS analysis with advanced material characterization techniques like XAS/ Nanoindentation/Acoustic Emission Monitoring/ Cryo-TEM etc. Candidates with experience in the above field and publications in peer-reviewed journals are encouraged to apply.

Salary: Rs. 31600-2600-78400/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of one year or end of the project, whichever is earlier
