Applications are invited for temporary & contractual post of Sr. Project Scientist under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: PhD + Two years of exp.

Desirable Qualification: Ph.D.in Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanoscience/ Nanoengineering with at least 20 years’ experience.

Essential Experience: 

• Thin film deposition, vacuum system operation, photolithography, microelectronic device fabrication and characterization, cleanroom management. 
• Managing various utilities for clean room, including oversight of installation, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Making and implementing lab safety policies and procedures. [Organisation of safety training for lab users, evaluation of safety policies, methods, and programs are highly desirable.]

Salary: Rs. 38800-3200-96400/- (per month based on qualification)

Term of Appointment: The appointment will be purely on temporary and contractual basis initially for a period of three years or end of the project, whichever is earlier
