SRF (02) positions are available in theBRNS sponsored project entitled “Modelling validation and application of ligand coated soft materials for adsorptive separation of GD+3 and UO2+2 ions".The post is temporary & on Contractual basis.

Qualification: "Applicant should have M.Tech. or B.Tech+2years experience either  in chemical engineering, Physical Chemistry, material science or computational physics.

He/She should have strong programming skills.  In particular the candidate should have experience in Gaussian and molecular dynamics packages.  The candidate will have to work on the software development besides using Gaussian, GULP and other packages to understand ligand-metal ion interaction. Furthermore, the project also involves development of force-field for the polymer-ligand-metal ion systems.

Initial appointment for the above post will be for one year, and may be extended further.

Salary range: Rs. 28,000/- (per month)
