Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (PDPM IIITDM) has been set up in 2005 at Jabalpur with the primary goal of the institute to educate and train engineers who are dealing with design and manufacturing of engineering goods. Vision of the institute is to become an academic institution of excellence that would facilitate and promote the competitive advantage of Indian products and manufacturing in global markets. The Institute invites applications from Indian Nationals for the posts of

PROFESSOR (Rs. 18400 – 500 - 22400)

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ( Rs. 16400 – 450 – 20000)

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Rs. 12000 – 420 – 18300)

LECTURER (Rs. 10000 – 325 – 15200)

in the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Appointment of Lecturer is temporary and will be made on contract for a period not exceeding 5 years.

Qualifications (for all positions): The candidates must have a good academic background, have ability and aptitude for teaching Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses and have independent Research experience. They should have publications in journals of repute or experience in carrying out developmental projects of merit. Basic degree in respective branch is preferred. Candidates applying for higher positions may also be considered for lower positions. For candidates with exceptional academic record, the professional experience may be relaxed by the Selection Committee.

Professor: Ph D with at least 10 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor.

Associate Professor: Ph D with at least 8 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor: Ph D with at least 3 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience.

Lecturer: Ph D

Notes:

1. The areas of specialization for a particular position in a department and other relevant details will be supplied with the application form.
2. Indian national residing abroad may apply on plain paper, giving details of educational qualifications, relevant experience and achievements, list of publications and research plans along with names and addresses of three referees.
3. The pay carries all other allowances as admissible to a Central Government employee stationed at Jabalpur .
