PROGRAMME FOR THE CELEBRATION OF
"INDEPENDENCE DAY"

ON AUGUST 15, 2008
The Institute has made suitable arrangements for celebration of Independence Day on Friday, August 15th, 2008 at the Auditorium Grounds as per the program given below.

The celebration will be organized combined by IIT Kanpur and IIT Rajasthan.

Therefore, all the students, staff and faculty members are requested to take part in the celebrations.

The students are also invited to present one cultural program as part of the celebration, since a time slot is enclosed for this purpose.

7:55 hrs Arrival of the Director and Inspection of NCC Cadets
8:00 hrs Flag hoisting by the Director/National Anthem by IITK Students
8:05 hrs Address by the Director
8:10 hrs Distribution of Industry Sponsored and Bravery Awards
8:15 hrs Cultural Programme by the Campus School/Opportunity School/Kendriya Vidyalaya/Staff/IITK & IIT Rajasthan Students
9:05 hrs National Anthem by Campus School and Closure of the function
