IIT Rajasthan is one of the new generation IITs, set-up by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India to augment its technical education & research activities.

IIT Rajasthan promises excellent opportunities and full freedom to the academicians to devise new courses and teaching tools in Engineering, Sciences and Humanities and encourage students to explore new depths of Engineering & Sciences.

This new IIT, which is going to be located in the State of Rajasthan is expected to play a pivotal role in propelling growth and development at the regional and national levels aiming at international stature.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for various posts in the departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). In HSS, the major areas for recruitment are Economics, English & Linguistics, Fine Arts, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology.

Positions:

• PROFESSOR

Qualification: Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD)

Experience: 10 years in teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/Assistant Professor.

• ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Qualification: Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD)

Experience: 8 years in teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

• ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Qualification: Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD)

Experience: 3 years in teaching/ research/ industrial experience.

• FACULTY ASSOCIATE #

Qualification: PhD is desirable however candidates having Master’s Degree may also be considered

Experience: Professional qualification and experience shall carry suitable weight
