Traffic Improvement Questionnaire, Aug 2004
In an effort to understand the perspective of the campus community
(residents/frequent visitors) on traffic situation here at IITK, a
survey was conducted during Independence day celebrations (Aug 15,
2004). A number of people volunteered to help distribute and collect
the responses. Special thanks go to Deputy Director Prof. Kripa
Shanker and Capt. Umesh Chandra for their support and encouragement.

Disclaimer:
Attempts were made to reach out to all sections of the campus
population and the response was purely voluntary. It is possible that
the results of this survey is skewed in the direction of people
interested in issues related to traffic rules. The fact that such
large numbers of campus residents are interested and want to see a
campus with smooth and safe traffic is the message we can take home
from this survey.
