For students wanting to opt for an M.Tech/ M.S./MBA in a department that is not his/her parent department,the following rules apply:

(a) Students can apply for the M.Tech/M.S./MBA program in a different department,at the end of the sixth semester of their academic program.

(b) The student should have no backlogs,with respect to the UG template of their parent department,at the time of application.

(c) The student should have a minimum CPI of 6.0 at the time of appilcation. Dualdegree option should be given against the desired options,according to availability of seats and CPI of the student.

(d) Migration to the PG program will be done only after all credit requirements,for an undergraduate degree in the parent department,are completed.

(e) The student may wish to not continue with the PG program at the end of his/her regular B.Tech/B.S program. Approval for withdrawal will be given against a written request to the Chari man SUGC,through the DUGC convener of the parent department.

(f) The PG program change will be withdrawn if the student accumulates more than 40 credits of backlog by the end of the eight semester of his academic program.

(g) Application for program change should be made to Chari man SUGC,through DUGC convener of the parent department.
