Prof. Arvind Agarwal is a Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Florida International University (FIU), Miami, FL, USA. The talk described the current efforts to examine the effects of space radiation and atmospheric oxygen on microstructural and mechanical properties changes of the composite coatings.
