Applications are invited for the post of ”Project Associate” for Central facility MFCEM at BSBE, IIT Kanpur. The post is purely temporary and on a contractual basis.

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech, Or Post graduate, Or Graduate +3 year’s relevant experience .
Desirable Qualification: A post graduate degree with at least lab experience. Handling of instruments is required for this job. Exposure in a professional setting and practical knowledge of Lab management.
Direct experience in project management in an academic education institution is considered favourably.
Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential laboratory instruments, including the ultracentrifuge, GelDoc system, plate reader, and NanoDrop spectrophotometer. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate will ensure the lab functions smoothly, safely, and efficiently by maintaining equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and optimizing workflows.
Duration: 1 year initially, extendable for one more year based on performance.
Salary: In the range Rs. 21000-1800-54000.
