Applications are invited for a temporary position of Project Technician in a project at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Project Technician (01)

Essential Qualification

• High School + ITI (Mechanical or associated certificate course)
• 09 years or more hands-on working experience in conventional and non-conventional machines.

Desirable qualification

• The applicant should be self-motivated, able to work independently, an effective communicator, and reliable.
• Experience in building set-ups for experiments related to solar energy
• Hands-on experience in CNC machining (Lathe & Milling) would be perferred

Salary Range (Rs.)

18000 - 1500 - 45000

The position is purely temporary, and it is for one year, extendable up to two years. The department reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualifications and experience.
