Vacancy for Two Project Engineers
Project Title: Development of a flash ironmaking reactor based on the direct reduction of iron oxide fines with H2-CO mixtures
Essential Qualification: B.Tech + 3 years of experience or M.Tech
Desirable Qualifications: PhD in Engineering
Desirable Skills:
For Position 1: Experience with high-temperature experiments, characterisation tools such as XRD, SEM-EDX and basic understanding on rate analysis for heterogeneous reactions
For Position 2: Experience in ANSYS FLUENT, Matlab, Python and relevant programming languages.
Areas of Educational Qualification- MetallurgicalMaterials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engincering, or related fields.
Salary: INR 31600.00 per month
Nature of position: Full time, Contractual
Duration of appointment: Primary duration of appointment will be for 1 year which is extendable up to 2 years upon satisfactory performance after the first year.
Nature of work:
For Position 1: High temperature experimentation, Characterisation work, data acquisition, thermodynamic calculations, rate analysis. Should undertake any task assigned by the PI.
For Position 2: Development of computational framework, running CFD based simulations, data analysis, post-processing, report writing etc. Should undertake any task assigned by the PI.
