VETOMAC-3 & ACSIM 2004

In a joint venture IIT Kanpur organized an international conference with the Australian Cooperative Research Centre on Integrated Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM).

Two conferences - VETOMAC (Vibration Engineering & Technology of Machinery) and ACSIM (Asia-Pacific Conference on System Integrity and Maintenance) were merged and Joint Sessions were planned in view of convergence in the discipline areas.

VETOMAC-3 was the third in a series of conferences being held biennially in India. ACSIM is an Asia-Pacific biennial international conference dealing with Asset Management and Maintenance related issues. ACSIM 2002 was held in Cairns, Australia while ACSIM 2000 was held at Nanjing, P.R.China.
