Applications are invited for the positions of Project Associate and Senior Project Associate for a project at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).

1. Project Associate: (01)
B. Tech or Masters Degree in Biotechnology or allied Life Sciences.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having
• Minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
• At least 2 years of research experience in mammalian cell culture, bacterial culture, and routine molecular biology applications after Masters in an academic institutions/ research & development organization may apply.
• Should be well conversant with spoken & written English.

Salary: Rs. 20, 000 per month (fixed).

2. Senior Project Associate: (01)
B. Tech + 1 year experience or Masters Degree + 1 year experience in Biotechnology or allied Life Sciences.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having
• Minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
• At least 4 years of research experience in mammalian cell culture, bacterial culture, and routine molecular biology applications after Masters in an academic institutions/ research & development organization may apply.
• Should be well conversant with spoken & written English.

Salary: Rs. 24, 000 per month (fixed).

Both positions are purely temporary for one year and based on the performance extendable further until duration of project.
