Applications are invited for the post of temporary project position in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored research Project (No. BT/PR7376/MED/29/669/2012).

Title: “Establishment of Human Ectopic Liver Tissue in Mice”.

Senior Research Fellow: One

Qualification: M.Sc in Life Sciences (First Class) with two years experience in a research laboratory.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having Master of Science (M.Sc.)-Biological Sciences/Life Sciences /Biotechnology with a minimum of 65% marks and two years of research experience.

Candidates with a proven experience of working with animal cell culture technology (particularly with liver cell culture), polymer technology and hands on experience with scanning electron microscopy/ florescent microscopy and fluorimeter will be given preference. Candidates are expected to work in a multidisciplinary research area.

Duration: Initially for one year and based on the performance extendable further until duration of the project.

Salary: 18,000/-per month (Consolidated).
