Applications are invited for the post of temporary Project Positions in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored research Project (No. BT/PR14111/PBD/19/220/2010),

Title: “Development of silk based advanced biomaterials for tissue engineering applications using cryogelation technology”.

Project Associate/Senior Research Fellow: One

Qualification: B.Tech or M.Sc

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having Ph.D or Master of science (M.Sc.)-Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Chemistry/ Microbiology/Biotechnology or Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma) with a minimum of 55% marks and four years of research experience. Candidate with MBBS degree or B.Tech with relevant experience can also apply.

Candidates with a proven experience of working with animal cell culture technology, polymer technology and hands on experience with flow cytometry/Scanning electron microscopy/Micro CT/confocal microscopy and having relevant research publications will be given preference. Candidates are expected to work in a multidisciplinary research area.

Duration: Initially for one year and based on the performance extendable further until duration of project.

Salary Range: 15000-1500-30000/-per month (Consolidated).
