Applications are invited for two temporary positions (i) one Project Engineer (ii) one Project Associate, to work in the EADS project on Communication, Localization and Navigation using Ad Hoc Networks at the department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned.

Salary Ranges:
Project Engineer: Rs. 22,000-2200-44,000
Project Associate: Rs. 15,000-1500-30,000

Duration of appointment is for 1 year. The above salary ranges are inclusive of HRA and subsidy towards room rent.

Qualification and Experience:
Project Engineers: M. Tech or B. Tech + 3 years experience.
Project Associate: B. Tech or M. Sc.

The candidates must have either Computer Science or Information Technology or Equivalent as the major. Preference will be given to the candidates having background in Mobile Computing/Wireless networks and prociency in programming C. Knowledge of network simulator such as NS-2 and/or TOSSIM will be an added advantage.
