Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate or Senior Project Associate in a DST sponsored project titled, "DEVELOPMENT OF METAL MONOLITH CATALYSTS FOR STEAM REFORMING OF METHANE" in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification:
Project Assoicate:
BTech (Chemical Engineering) OR M.Sc(Chemistry) with GATE/NET qualified.
Salary Range:
Rs. 15000-1500-30000.

OR

Senior Project Associate:
BTech (Chemical Engineering) + 1 year experience OR M.Sc(Chemistry)+ 1 year experience with GATE/NET qualified.

Salary Range:
Rs. 18000-1800-36000

Desired Qualification:
The applicant should have a strong background in synthesis, characterization and testing of catalysts for reactions.

The post is purely temporary, and depending on the selection committee will be for a maximum of one year. Extension of the appointment will be based on the performance of the candidate and the recommendation of the Project Investigator and Co-Investigator.
