Applications are invited for three nos. of Project Technician/Senior Project Mechanic in the following sponsored projects tenable at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned.

1. “A Study of The Effects of Wake Passing on Turbine Blade Film Cooling—both Numerics and Experiments”.
2. “Numerical Simulations of Flow and Heat Transfer around Film-Cooled Gas Turbine Blades with Different Turbulence Models”.
3. “Large-Eddy Simulation of Transitional Flow over a Low-Pressure Turbine Blade”.

Emoluments: Rs. 12000-24000 for Project Technician and Rs.9000-18000 for Senior Project Mechanic depending on qualification and experience. The position is purely temporary.

Qualifications:
Project Technician: Bsc in Physics +4Yrs experience, Diploma in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electronics +4yr experience with a good academic background.

Senior Project Mechanic: Diploma in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electronics

Proficiency in English both communication and writing, knowledge of using computers, WORD Documents, LINUX System.
