Applications are invited for a post doctoral research associate to work in a DST sponsored project titled ’Standard Model with local scale invariance’. The candidate will be expected to work on the cosmological and collider implications of locally scale invariant models as well as models which display unimodular general coordinate invariance. The candidate is expected to be familiar with Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics as well as General Relativity. The salary is in the range of Rs. 18000 - 36000 pm (consolidated). The position is temporary and the appointment will initially be made for one year. The appointment can be extended for another year. Last date of submission of applications is May 30, 2012. However applications will be considered beyond the last date till the position gets filled. Minimum qualifications for the post are Ph.D. in theoretical high energy physics or cosmology.
