Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate under a project entitled "Metamaterials and plasmonic structured materials for controlling radiation" funded by the DRDO. The position is tenable for one year and extendable only upon satisfactory performance. The Project Associate will undertake experimental work on thin film deposition and micro/nanostructuring methods, as well as Optical characterization. Essential qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics or/ B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering with over 70% marks. Background in optics/photonics and computer programming capability is desirable. NET /GATE scores / prior research experience are desirable.

Salary will be in the scale 15000-1500-30000 with medical facilities and housing as permissible under rules. Minimum emoluments will be Rs. 16500¬ per month.
