Applications are invited for One post of Senior
Project Associate (SPA) OR Project
Scientist (PS) under the project entitled “Photonic
crystal based devices for light control” at the Department
of Physics, IIT Kanpur.
SPA:
Essential qualification: First class in M.Sc (Physics) OR
5-yr Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc (Physics or Photonics) + 2 years of research
experience
Desirable qualification: A valid score /
pass in GATE / NET (JRF) / CSIR (JRF) examination. Familiarity in
optical characterization techniques, nanophotonics experiments,
and/or laser experimentation methods will be an advantagee.
Salary: Rs. 18,000 per month (consolidated)
in the scale of 18000-1800-36000.
Duration: One year
If a candidate possesses a Ph.D degree and is found
suitable to the project, the post of PS will be offered in the scale
of pay of 22000-2200-44000.
