Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate in a DBT sponsored project (Ref No. BT/PR11202/MED/32/46/2008), entitled “Engineering Articular Cartilage : A Novel Interdisciplinary Approach” under the guidance of Dr. Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, Department of Biological Science and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree (MA/MSc or equivalent) with a minimum of TWO years of experience working in an experimental biology laboratory.

Desirable: Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in English is a must. Candidate must be well versed with Microsoft Office suite. Experience of working in a vertebrate developmental biology will be highly desirable.

Duration: Initially for one year and extendable on the basis of performance up to a maximum of TWO years or the end of the project period, whichever is earlier.

Salary: In the range Rs.6,000/ to 15,000/- per month (Consolidated).
