Applications are invited for one post of Senior Project Assistant in a sponsored project (DBT/BSBE/20090223) at the Department of Biological Sciences & Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree.

Work Experience: The applicant should have minimum 4 years work experience in sterilization techniques, preparation of media, and reagents, and handling equipments like laminar flow, autoclave, centrifuge etc. In addition, applicant should be proficient in book keeping, processing orders and maintenance of accounts. Working knowledge of computer-based office applications (Word, Excel etc) is a must.

Salary Range: Rs. 7000 per month (consolidated).

The post is purely temporary, and is for one year. Interested candidates may apply on a plain paper giving full details of qualifications, experience with copies of relevant certificates by 25th September 2010.
