Applications are invited for one post of Project Associate for a sponsored project of the DBT entitled "Structural and Biochemical studies to understand the role of a unique GTPase EngA in ribosome biogenesis" at BSBE Department, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification : M.Sc or M.Tech or M.Phil in Life science related areas or Chemistry/Physics with high Ist division and an interest to be a part of inter-disciplinary research. Minimum of two years research experience is required.

Desirable : Consistently good academic record. Experience in structural biology, biochemistry, protein crystallization and structure determination would be an added advantage. Experience in cloning, expression, protein purification, site-directed mutagenesis, protein characterization is desirable. CSIR-NET or CSIR/DBT/ICMR JRF qualification.

Salary Range : 10,000-1,000-20,000

The post is purely temporary for three months and can be extended for one year on the basis of performance.
