Applications are invited for one Project Scientist position for the IFCPAR sponsored project, titled " Bimetallic catalysis involving ruthenium and palladium: C-H bond activation, functionalization and beyond " tenable at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned. The project will involve the synthesis, characterization and catalytic evaluation of Pd and Ru compounds. Candidate with knowledge on the inorganic reaction mechanism and catalysis are requested to apply. The project starts on May 1, 2011.

Emoluments: Rs. 18,000 p.m. (consolidated)

The position is temporary for 1 year initially, but can be extended further depending on satisfactory performance.

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Chemistry.
