Applications are invited from qualified candidates for one post of Project Scientist to work in a DST-funded project (DST-CHM-2010-0333) entitled “Extending the scope of homo-Nazarov cyclization to 2-silylmethylcyclopropyl vinyl ketones, exploring spiro-indenes as suitable optical light emitting diodes and changing the course of spiro-indene formation to generate cycloheptenes” with the undersigned Principal Investigator.

Essential Qualification:

PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or MSc (Chemistry) with 3 years of research experience

Salary range: Rs 22000-2200-44000 (Project Scientist)

The appointment will be initially for a period of 3 months. Subject to mutual agreement, the tenure of the position may be extended till Jan 31, 2014.
