Applications are invited from qualified candidates for a post of a Project Scientist to work in a Unilever funded project titled “Design and Synthesis of peptide:nucleic acid molecules to target gene expression” with the undersigned Principal Investigator.

Duration : 1 year

Essential Qualification: PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

Salary range: Rs 22000-2200-44000 (Project Scientist)

The qualification and experience requirement for the above mentioned post are the following.

Essential Qualification:
1. The applicant must have a Ph.D. Candidates who are expecting their degree after submission of their thesis can also
apply.

2. B.Sc and M.Sc with a minimum 60%.

3. Should be proficient in spoken & written English

Desirable: Experience with synthesis and characterization of peptides using both solid and solution phase methodology is desirable. Should have research experience in purification of synthesized organic compounds and have a good working knowledge of handling equipment/s such as HPLC, Spectrophotometer, GC, SDS-PAGE etc.
