Applications are invited for the following post to work for a project on “Creating an International Program for Sustainable Infrastructure Development” sponsored by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Project Associate/Project Technician

Number of Posts: One

(i) Minimum qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering *
(ii) Salary Range: Project Associate: Rs.10,000 to 20,000 /month (consolidated)
Project Technician: Rs. 8,000 to 16,000 /month (consolidated)
(iii) Duration of Appointment: Initially for a period of one year
(iv) Desirable: Experience in civil infrastructure monitoring, management, and maintenance, Good knowledge of MS Office, report writing, etc.

(*) : persons with an engineering diploma and 4 years experience will be considered for the post of Project Technician.

NOTE: The position is purely TEMPORARY and will carry other benefits as may be applicable under Institute rules.
