Applications are invited for 01 Senior Project Associate as a temporary basis in the Project entitled, "Verification of Analysis and Design of Structures".

Salary Range: Rs. 12,000-1200-24,000

Duration: Maximum six months

Essential Qualifications: M. Tech or B.Tech/MSc or equivalent + 2 Years experience

Desirable

1. B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Govt. University/ IIT with minimum CPI 8 (out of 10)

2. M.Tech in Civil Engineering (specialization in structural engineering) from IIT with minimum CPI 8 (out of 10)

3. Minimum one and half years of research experience in the field of structural engineering from any IIT with a minimum of six months experience in the senior project associate level

5. Should have exposure in the fields of FEM modeling of structures, wind and earthquake analysis and design of structures

6. Should have exposure to the following courses during B.Tech or M.Tech program: structural dynamics, wind engineering and design of structures, earthquake engineering and design of structures, engineering mechanics, stability of structures, finite elements methods in engineering, optimization technique, steel structure design, concrete structure design

Computer Skills: Windows (98, 2000, XP), FORTRAN (77, 95), C, C++, SAP2000, AUTOCAD, GRAPHER, LATEX, MSWORD, STAAD PRO, OpenSees, SHAKE96, MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica
