Applications are invited from highly motivated young person for
one post of Project Associate
for performing laboratory Experiments and operating analytical instruments
related to combustion aerosol characterization in the Department
of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur.
Post: Project Associate (One)
Project Title: "Physico-Chemical Characterization of Nano-particle
emanating from Diesel engines and their control using Diesel Oxidation
Catalysts" (SERB/CE/20120075)
Minimum Qualification: Desirable to have ME/M.Tech in Civil or Environmental
or Mechanical Engineering. Candidate with B.E./B.Tech in Civil or
Environmental or Mechanical Engineering and having relevant experience
may also apply. Background in Engine exhaust characterization, handling
of analytical instruments like ICP, GC is desired.
Salary: Rs. 15,000-1,500-20,000/- per month.
The post is purely temporary, and is for duration of one year and
may be extended depending on the requirement. If shortlisted, copies
of relevant certificates will be required, and will be checked against
original certificates at the time of interview.
Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview (by
third week of October, 2012). Applicants who do not meet the minimum
qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview.
No TA/DA will be given to attend the interview.
