Applications are invited for a temporary position of a knowledge engineer to generate qualitative models of the Ganga River Basin ecology, biodiversity, pollution, environmental quality and other such aspects.

Consultant:

Qualifications: Ph.D in any domain of Science or engineering with at least 10 years of research experience in an institute of national standing. Capacity to work independently is essential.

Applications are invited for a temporary position of Programmer to work on the development of Knowledge Models for the MOEF project (MOEF/CS/20100232) at Media building, IIT Kanpur.

Programmer:

Qualifications: BTech/MTech/MCA are equivalent with good knowledge of Web technologies, CMS like Drupal and tools like Cmap will be essential. Minimum 1 years experience is required.

Project Engineer:

Qualification and Experience: BTech/MTech/MCA are equivalent with good knowledge of Web and Semantic technologies. Knowledge of CMS like Drupal, Dspace is essential. Minimum 4 years experience is required.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The selection will be based on a written test and interview to be held at IIT Kanpur. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview. Short listed candidates will be informed about the date and place of the written test/interview.

The position is purely temporary.
