Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Mechanic in BARC funded Project No. SPO/BARC/ME/20120374 entitled “Development of Technology for nano-finishing of curved and sculptured surfaces”.

This project involves planning of experiments, performing the experiments and computational work. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of advanced machining processes in general, and Abrasive Flow Finishing and Magnetorheological Finishing processes and machine tools in particular. The appointment will be only up to June 30, 2013.

Minimum qualification and salary range are as follows:

Position: Senior Project Mechanic

Minimum qualification: Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Production OR High School + ITI OR High School with 5 years of relevant experience.

Salary range: 7000 -700 - 14000

Only two positions are available. Interested candidates should apply latest by January 18, 2013 on a plain paper giving details of qualifications and experience with copies of relevant certificates and marks sheets. Higher start may be given to the person with relevant experience in the areas related to the project as specified above.
