Applications are invited for one post of Project Scientist in a research project titled, “PLASMA SPRAYED NANO-CERIA-ALUMINA COMPOSITE COATINGS FOR CATALYTIC CONVERSION OF COMBUSTION GASES” in the Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. or ‘M.Sc + 3 years experience’.

Work Experience:

The applicant should have a strong background on fundamentals and principles of materials and applied chemistry Applicant must have worked in area related to sensors. Knowledge of plasma spraying, microstructural and phase characterization, mechanical property, and tribological evaluation is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of computer-based office applications (MS Office, power point, etc.) is a must.

Salary Range: Rs. 22000-2200-44000.

The post is purely temporary, and is for duration of ten months.
