Applications are invited for one post of Senior Project Mechanic in a research project titled, “ROLE OF PARTICLE SIZE OF YTTRIA STABILLIZEB ZIRCONICA ON THE WEAR RESISTANCE OF THE PLASMA SPRAYED ALUMINIUM OXIDE COATINGS” in the Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: 3 years Engg. Diploma OR High School + ITI + 5 years relevant experience.

Work Experience:

The applicant should have worked in a research lab and exposed themselves to the academic working environment. Knowledge of sample sectioning and polishing, managing paperwork for ordering equipments and consumables, and miscellaneous jobs is required. Knowledge of entering data in computer and drafting letters is desirable.

Salary Range: Rs. 9000-900-18000.

The post is purely temporary, and is for duration of one year.
