SandHI envisages to publish relevant texts on indigenous knowledge systems particularly those which are out-of-print, or need to be revised and re-printed. It also provides a platform to experts outside the IIT Kanpur system to get their translations/interpretations published as long as they are in lines with the present initiative.

In the later stages, SandHI plans to publish books (both in electronic and paper form) at multiple levels of engagement, at an introductory level aiming towards the young readers as well as at an advanced level for researchers.
